Our Program 🌱

Hi! I’m Miss Bee, owner and caregiver at Pumpkin Patch Acres Family Home Daycare. I have over 30 years of experience in early childhood education and I’m certified in CPR/First Aid with extended background checks.

Pumpkin Patch Acres is a small, traditional family home daycare offering a calm, nurturing, nature-based environment on a working homestead.

Our days are guided by Montessori and Waldorf–inspired learning, with an emphasis on practical life skills, imaginative play, purposeful activities, and age-appropriate independence.

We value kindness, respect, and consistency, and we work best with families who appreciate clear boundaries and predictable rhythms. This is a small group setting where children are expected to participate safely and respectfully.

Our homestead includes farm animals, daily outdoor time, and real-life learning. We even have a working sled dog team that has been trained specifically for interacting with children.

Healthy meals and snacks are not just provided, but ingredients are planted, grown and harvested here.

Our unique environment provides opportunities for learning and exploring that your child won’t receive at a typical daycare.

Pumpkin Patch Acres Family Home Daycare operates legally under Idaho law as a license-exempt family home daycare, serving six or fewer children in a private home setting.

Families who share these values tend to feel right at home at Pumpkin Patch Acres! 🌱
